A persistent machine for each coding workflow
Boxd provides cloud virtual machines that developers access over SSH, with persistent storage, networking and root-level control. A machine can retain an application, its data and tools between sessions, giving developers a reusable environment instead of repeatedly provisioning temporary containers.
Isolated workspaces for agents and teams
Engineering teams can provision separate machines for individual developers, coding agents, branches and pull requests. Agents can use those workspaces to read code, run commands and test changes, while preview environments give reviewers a live copy of an application. Boxd also offers CI runners and an MCP server for coding-agent workflows.
