Customers set financial goals and complete a risk profile, then choose among expert-designed portfolios, a portfolio tailored with an adviser or a self-directed Flexifolio. Betterplan analyzes funds and presents portfolio recommendations intended to align with each investor’s goals and risk profile.
Advice and account visibility in one place
The platform provides investment recommendations, financial-planning tools and a view of portfolio status and supporting documents. Betterplan says customer instructions are carried out through external brokers and fund managers; the company does not custody funds or make investment decisions for clients. It also provides portfolio-management software and operations tools to independent financial advisers.
