Alice & Bob develops chips, quantum circuits and the software needed to control and read them. Its cat-qubit approach builds protection against one type of quantum error into the hardware, forming the basis for a larger error-corrected architecture.

The engineering work extends from chip design to the software layers that turn quantum operations into control pulses and collect measurement results. The Paris- and Boston-based company is developing this architecture for future useful quantum computing and integration with high-performance computing systems.
