Advanced Electric Machines designs and manufactures electric motors and drive systems for vehicle makers and industrial customers. Its motor technology removes permanent magnets and rare-earth materials and uses aluminium in place of copper, addressing material sourcing and end-of-life recyclability alongside powertrain performance.

The product range covers commercial vehicles, passenger cars and off-highway machinery, with additional applications in rail and industrial equipment. Customers can use motors, integrated drive systems or bespoke engineering support. The HDRM family serves commercial traction applications, while SSRD technology addresses passenger-vehicle requirements.
